What We Do
SHIFA will work with local immigrant communities to identify and implement culturally sensitive health care interventions and provide referrals connect patients with existing health and social services
SHIFA strives to provide culturally competent, holistic healthcare to underserved communities of King County and to be leaders in creating an effective student-run health and social service model
We will work to make access to social services available to every person in the greater Seattle area which are basic fundamental rights for all
We will train competent, culturally sensitive professionals and students through exposure of different cultural practices and having students practice their professional skills under the guidance of a preceptor.
